Isabis is a dermal filler gel of Sodium hyaluronate generated by Streptococcus species of bacteria. It is produced biotechnologically by natural fermentation. Isabis is a viscous gel supplied in a prefilled glass syringe together with needles for injection.
Isabis is formulated as a clear gel and uses a dual mechanism of action to correct moderate to severe wrinkles and folds. Upon being injected beneath the skin's surface, Isabis gel integrates into dermal tissue then attracts and binds to water molecules to help maintain volume. Isabis is gradually degraded by the body's own mechanism and disappears without any residue. Results can be seen immediately following Isabis treatment and for up to six months. Some patients may achieve results that last longer than six months, depending upon injection site.
Isabis is available in three formulations based on particle size- Isabis Fine, Isabis Contour and Isabis Restore. Isabis FINE is indicated for facial tissue augmentation. It is recommended as dermal filler for wrinkles and lip augmentation. Isabis CONTOUR is indicated for facial tissue augmentation. It is recommended to be used for shaping the contours of the face, correction of folds and lip enhancement. Isabis RESTORE is indicated for facial tissue augmentation. It is recommended to be used for shaping pronounced contours of the face and for volume augmentation.
Isabis FINE is supplied in one ml long glass pre-filled syringe with 1 ml fill volume. Isabis CONTOUR is supplied in one ml glass prefilled syringe with 1 ml fill volume. Isabis RESTORE is supplied in two ml glass pre-filled syringe with 2 ml fill volume.
